For businesses requiring higher transaction capacity, additional entities, more accounts, or a customized bookkeeping workflow. We review your workload and reporting requirements before proposing a monthly subscription and separate Account Activation fee.
Account Activation is a separate one time charge for each purchased monthly service. It covers establishing the agreed service workflow and activating the account. Monthly subscriptions are billed separately. If you purchase Monthly Bookkeeping and Accounts & Billing together, each service retains its full Account Activation fee and monthly subscription, even when both services use one shared client portal.
After signing the agreement, Account Activation and the first monthly subscription are due within three business days. Paid portal access, onboarding, and service delivery begin after payment. Ongoing subscriptions bill automatically each month on the corresponding service start date. Services are month to month, with 30 days written notice for cancellation. Unpaid invoices may result in a service pause after notice and a five business day opportunity to resolve the failed payment, as described in the agreement.
Paper Trail does not prepare or file tax returns, provide tax or legal advice, or independently authorize or release client payments. Basic accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking within Monthly Bookkeeping is not the same as active invoice creation, payment reminders, and vendor payment coordination under Accounts & Billing.
